The train journey in third class was enjoyable. It was an open space with no privacy whatsoever, where people sprawled out comfortably. Everyone acted without a care in the world. It felt like the only cradle of freedom permitted by the Federation. Simon even squeezed out time from his rest to meet various people. There were Federation citizens who didn't believe in the Goddess, or those who resisted Efnel. Of course, they thoroughly pretended to be devout believers in front of Inquisitors.By interacting with many people, Simon naturally felt his horizons broadening significantly. On the other hand, Lete, unaccustomed to such an environment, spent most of her time on the top bunk or burying her face in a pillow to avoid unwanted gazes. However, by the second day, she seemed to have adapted somewhat, as she too began to shed her outer clothes and move around in comfortable attire. She even befriended a commoner girl her age and often went around with her. Thus, the five-day train journey came to an end, and they arrived at the train station in the very same village they had first visited upon arriving in the Federation. They received farewells from many people. Even two Inquisitors they had befriended on the train personally came to shake Simon's hand. After getting off the train, the two first went to meet their broker. As they arrived at the old pub, their meeting place, and sipped water, a man in a shabby robe appeared.
